Maintenance Technician (Electrical Biased)

The role

The successful candidate will be electrically biased, with the ability to apply cross-skilling in order to perform a range of maintenance tasks. This will include ensuring that all plant and machinery, CNC machine tools, and other manufacturing equipment is safe and available for use across the site.

The person

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with a good knowledge of CNC machine controls (i.e. Fanuc/Mazak/Siemens) and the ability to carry out electrical/mechanical installations. The successful candidate will also have knowledge and experience on associated motor drives and the ability to carry out machine alignments, together with knowledge of laser alignment and ballbar checking.

Ideally the candidate will be educated in electrical/mechanical engineering with an HNC. They will also possess at least five years of experience in repairing CNC tools. The successful candidate will also have basic knowledge of operating CNC machines, and CNC programming would be an advantage.
