Production Team Leader

The Job:

This is a hands-on role, where you will support the Production Manager to deliver production plans, work to and achieve daily targets and implement continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a similar role and must have experience managing a team. They will be an effective communicator and able to proactively working with different stakeholders across the business.

Key Requirements of the role include:

• Effectively carrying out key processes including: CNC Punch press, CNC Press brake, Welding & Powder coating.
  Understanding engineering drawings, documentation, and material flow/handling.
• Leading, supporting, and developing the team, prioritising, and allocating their workloads, ensuring objectives are clear and deadline are met.
• Ensuring the efficient running of the facility; quality control, operational efficiency, and waste minimisation.
• Ensuring all daily production targets are met.
• Reviewing and managing first time yield.
• Ensuring Kanban and procured stock levels are maintained.
• Working closely with Planning, Assembly and Quality to ensure orders are processed ontime.

Working hours: Currently 3 shift rotation, including an early shift, back shift and nightshift.
