Lead and manage all of the electrical construction phases of multiple projects.
Through the planning and concept stages of multiple new projects all the way through to delivery.
- Concept stages – assist in development of an initial schedule, identification of long lead items and a provisional build/test strategy.
- During engineering phase – working with engineers to offer feedback and support with regards to eventual safe and planned assembly and installation of engineering deliverables.
- During manufacturing and installation phase(s) – manage electrical clean room and any subcontract installers to ensure equipment is delivered to both quality and schedule requirements.
- Oversee and ensure work package preparation is carried out (PR doc’s / Construction docs, drawings, parts lists) and correctly completed with “As Built” information and closure sign offs.
- Identification/co-ordination of specific project electrical construction requirements; including and not limited to, facility, personnel, equipment and resource requirements.
- To liaise with electrical supervisor, electrical technicians and engineers for the project construction phases.

- Work with engineering with resolution of technical issues that may arise during the construction phases of the project.
- Identification and development of equipment (including special) required for construction.
- Development of risk assessment, method statements, procedures and plans for construction, including contractor’s compliance.

- Extensively involved in heavy engineering environment.
- Experience in electrical installations under strict schedules.
- Leading a team to successfully complete assembly work.
- Planning of resource, creating budgets and constructing schedules for assembly work.
- Fostering good health and safety practices in the working environment.
Skills required:
MS Project (intermediate level), line management (supervisory experience), AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, clear written and verbal communication.
