The role of the Project Lead is to complete hydraulic, electrical & mechanical systems from receiving the design concept through build and test to the delivery of the product to the customer complete with documentation.
Identify customer and project requirements and assist with design concepts.
Liaising with the electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical designer on design.
Lead the project; hydraulic, electrical & mechanical team through from receiving the design to completion stages of project builds. Purchasing materials. Liaising with stores to ensure all materials are ready for production.
Quoting and job costing.
Managing the hydraulic, electrical & mechanical team through the maintenance of hire equipment.
Writing FAT’s and work scopes. Commissioning, and managing the commissioning stage of projects.
Working offshore on hire or commissioning projects, supervising any staff/contractors.
SHEQ Areas of Responsibility
Ensuring PPE and risk assessments are followed.
Be aware of and ensure that SHEQ procedures are followed.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Job scope will include but not be limited to the above. At certain times the work and working hours will vary dependent upon specific project requirements as advised by your Line Manager. The role may involve national and international travel.
